A word from the Word - March

“ …Serve Him (the Lord) with a whole heart and a willing mind, for the Lord searches all hearts and understands every plan and thought. If you seek Him He will be found by you.” - 1 Chronicles 28:9,10

lets look at the 3 S’s of the verse

1. Serve – God is more concern with my heart attitude in serving Him than how much time is spent in service. What’s important is quality not quantity of service.

2. Searches- more sees what I doing for God searches the motives.

3. Seek- I’m to seek the Lord approval in my service and I will be found that my service is acceptable.

Quote:

“When we pray in the Holy Spririt, we bring to God the things that come quite naturally to our minds, and the Holy Spirit, who interceeds for the saints according to the will of God, ersable God to answer the prayer He Himself prays in your bodily temple and mine – that we may be the children of our Father which is in heaven. The holy Spirit cannot delight in our wisdom; it is the wisdom of God He delights in.” Oswald Chambers on Prayer Oswald Chambers

Reflective Question:

In what ways do I make my prayers more complicated than God intended them to be?
